Salaso has an online exercise library supporting rehabilitation and therapy across a wide range of clinical areas. Its main platforms are Salaso Health, Salaso Fit and Salaso Triage.

The Kerry company recently scooped the ‘SME Most Innovative Product Award’ at the Irish Health Technology Innovation Awards held last December.

The company has announced its hiring news having secured investment from the Davy EIIS Fund. The fund is managed by BES Management DAC, a joint venture between BDO and Davy.

CEO and founder of Salaso Aoife Ní Mhuirí said the investment will allow Salaso to grow its expanding international client base.

“This is a very exciting time for Salaso, as we grow our client base and continue to evolve and develop our cutting-edge digital therapeutics platform.

“Our team is highly skilled both in technology and delivering innovative evidence-based clinical solutions. This investment will enable Salaso to continue to expand the team and to grow internationally with a particular focus on the US market,” Ní Mhuirí added.

Sinead Heaney, partner at BDO said, “Salaso is ideally placed to exploit the growing market trends of digital adoption in healthcare and the increasing focus on employee wellness.”

Salaso’s clients include Northwell Health and Novartis. As well as its Kerry location, it has a sales office in the US.

The company has been an employer in Kerry since its founding in 2011. In 2020, it was on the lookout for a software engineer.
