This guy built a fantastic LEGO recreation of a 2500-horsepower triple-expansion engine with four-cylinders.

Impressive LEGO creations are everywhere you look; however, now and then, a replica comes out of nowhere and makes you look twice. This video by YouTube channel Martin Roberts where he shows off the 1:1 scale LEGO replica of a steam engine originally produced in 1907 is one prime example of that.

What you'll see is a fantastic LEGO recreation of a 2500-horsepower triple-expansion four-cylinder Trencherfield Mill engine in Wigan which was built in 1907, per the video's description. The engine was used during the first half of the 20th century and had Corliss vessels which is an old technology that used rotating valves to improve steam engine efficiency.

The video gives us an up-close and personal look into the engine. While a more in-depth look at all of the airways and valves would most definitely be appreciated, the video is a masterpiece on its own, too. The video will broaden your understanding of stem engine mechanics while amazing you with the level of detail at the same time. Enjoy!
